What is the difference between a transformational coach & a life coach?

A life coach tends to stay on the surface level of change. They typically work on a specific area or need and will help to clarify goals. While a life coach does encourage a change in action among their clients, a transformation coach will help the client to dig deeper. A transformation coach embraces a holistic examination of your life, working specifically with a person’s mindset. In order to create change in yourself, it’s necessary to work on becoming more self aware. This is when the path of self discovery comes in. Empowering you with self confidence, shifting how you see and trust yourself, we will partner to make life lasting changes.

Can I do my session virtually?

Yes! I offer virtual visits.

Will hypnosis make me do/say things I normally would not?

No! This is a common misconception with hypnosis.

You are always in control and would never do or say anything against your moral judgment. You will never get “stuck” in a hypnotic state. You will remain conscious throughout the session, hearing everything that is said to you and you are not asleep. You will not feel “different”, in fact you may feel as though nothing is happening, but you will always go to the level of hypnosis needed for your success. Hypnosis taps into the subconscious mind and creates a state of heightened suggestibility. You can stop and leave a session at any time. Know that I am always working for your highest and greatest good!

What if I can't be hypnotized?

Everyone has the ability to be hypnotized! You will always reach the level of hypnosis that is needed for YOUR success.

What are chakras?

Everything is made up of energy!  Throughout history, many cultures have referred to this universal energy as Qi/chi, prana, mana, nyama, aura, life force energy, among many other names. They also refer to energy vortexes that exist within us as Chakras which means wheel.  All living things, humans, animals, trees, plants, even the earth have a chakra system.  There are many different chakra systems, we have 7 major chakras and 114 total, each with a unique vibrational frequency and healing potency. The seven major chakras run along your spine, corresponding with nerve centers and organs in the body. When functioning properly they spin in a clockwise direction and keep us vibrant, happy and healthy. Chakras also store our energy of thoughts, feelings, memories, experiences, and actions.  While each chakra has its own distinct function, like many of our physical systems, they are interconnected. That means if one's out of balance, it affects all the rest. When a chakra is blocked or not functioning properly, this can lead to physical or emotional issues. There are many ways we can help balance our chakras such as meditation, yoga, reiki, breathing techniques, getting out in nature, sound therapy, a healthy diet, and of course a positive mindset!

What are meridians?

According to Chinese medicine a meridian is an energetic pathway that allows the flow of energy or “Chi” to circulate throughout the body. This vital energy provides your body with life and is responsible for coordinating the work of the organs and keeping your body balanced by regulating its functions. There are fourteen main meridians throughout the body. One that flows up the center of the body on the front, another that flows along the spine and 12 that run from head to toe along the rest of the body. Similar to the chakra system, when the energy in your meridian becomes blocked it can contribute to emotional and physical dis-ease. There’s also ways to help balance and keep your energy flowing such as acupressure & acupuncture, reiki, EFT/TFT “tapping”, specialized massages, yoga and exercise, eating a healthy diet and managing stress.
