What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness where the subconscious level of the mind is in a state of hyper suggestibility. The trance-like state you enter may appear similar to sleep in many ways, but you’re fully aware of what’s going on. This is a guided process with verbal cues and repetition. Hypnosis can be used to help you gain control over undesired behaviors or to help you cope better with anxiety or stress. It's important to know that although you're more open to suggestions during hypnosis, you don't lose control over your behavior. Hypnotherapy may place the seeds of different thoughts in your mind during the trance-like state, and soon, those changes take root and prosper. It may also clear the way for deeper processing and acceptance.
What to expect during a hypnosis session:
A typical hypnosis session is about 60 minutes - 90 minutes. A thorough intake and discussion will take place during the initial session. The hypnosis session will take place lying on a massage table or in a comfortable chair. A light blanket will be provided for your comfort if you choose. Soft, relaxing music will be played. The client will be guided into relaxation and you will go exactly to the level of hypnosis needed for your success!

Please Note:
Although clients generally see results after the first session, a minimum of 3 sessions are required for weight loss and smoking cessation.
